Sana'a, Sept. 23, (BNA) Yemen has joined the countries of the Non Aligned Movement in refusing referral of Iran's nuclear file to the Security Council as stipulated by a draft decision prepared by Britain, France and Germany.
The draft decision was sent to the meeting of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), held yesterday in the capital of Switzerland.
In a statement given by Yemeni Permanent Representative to the UN Bodies in Vienna, Ali Hameed Sharaf, he affirmed Yemen's hope that Iran's nuclear problem would be solved within the IAEA itself, calling for the resumption of negotiations between Iran and the EU to seek a solution acceptable to all sides.
