Manama, NOV.2 ( BNA ) World Summit Award (SWA) Swizterland headquartered announced Wednesday, the results of its first worldwide multimedia production competition whose Grand Jury met last September in Bahrain, with the participation of 36 media experts.
Forty winners were selected worlwide, with 5 electronic products of the Award's eighth categories, said WSA's official spokesman for Arab region and the Middle East and member of the Grand Jury Committe Mr.Waheed Al- Blushi. He said the the two winning projects were the General Directorate of the Natioanlity, passports and Residence's Electronic Visa System website and the Bahrain Businessmen Society's webite `` Woman Gate `` Winners will be presented at a gala event at the UN World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS) on 16 November 2005 in Tunis.
