Manama, March 7, (BNA) Crown Prince and Commander in Chief of the BDF, Shaikh Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, received today the Minister of Interior, Lt Gen. Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa who introduced to him the Turkish Minister of Interior, Abdulkadir Aksu, currently visiting the Kingdom.
Shaikh Salman welcomed Aksu hailing the strong relations existing between the two countries and the strong coordination in various fields that opened new horizons for cooperation. He also blessed the signing of the joint security cooperation agreement expressing hope for further opportunities of cooperation with Turkey. Shaikh Salman affirmed the importance of conducting more visits between officials from both sides to further bolster ties. The Crown conveyed his greetings to the Turkish President, Ahmet Necdet Sezer, and Premier, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, wishing them and Turkey further development and prosperity.
