Seoul , March . 20 (BNA) At least three Chinese sailors were killed and nine others went missing after their cargo ship crashed into an anchored gas carrier and sank off South Korea's west coast today, the coast guard said.
The accident occurred when the 2,972-ton Chinese ship was entering the port of Incheon west of the capital Seoul, the local coast guard said. Five of the 17 ship's crew members were rescued by a nearby vessel. Their ship sank immediately. There were no reports of casualties from the 3,980-ton South Korean ship.
