Baghdad , April . 18 (BNA) Gunmen shot dead two Iraqis working at the state's Sunni Endowment Authority and injured two others overnight in Touz Kharmato, 185 kilometers north of Baghdad, a police source said Today.
The attack on the Iraqis, including a member of the Sunni group Association for Muslim Scholars, took place near al- Zarqaa bridge when the victims were on their way back from Tikrit, the source said. Meanwhile, coalition forces fought insurgents in several locations in Ramadi, and joint US-Iraqi troops engaged in battle with suspected militants in al- Aadhamiya district in Baghdad, US military said today. Five suspected terrorists were killed and seven others detained in the clashes in al-Aadhamiya, a statement said.
