Baghdad, May 14 ( BNA ) Iraqi police found eleven bodies of Iraqi citizens who were shot dead after having sustained injuries due to torture in different areas of Karbala in south of Baghdad.
The German News Agency quoted Iraqi police as saying that 11 bodies - including 4 bodies of workers at the Human Mercy Organization in Karbala who were abducted on Saturday by some Iraqi police uniform- wearing people. Most of the bodies found showed traces of torture and gun shots in different places, police said. Fifty bodies of former Baath Party members and army soldiers have been found the in the neighborhood of Karbala since the mid of last month and until now.
