date: 17 05, 2006

Kabul , May . 17 (BNA) US led coalition forces killed at least four Taliban fighters in an air strike in Afghanistan's southern province of Urguzgan, according to a coalition statement issued late Tuesday.
The statement said the attack took place on Monday in Sahidi Haasd district of the province. It said there were no injuries to civilians or damage to property during the operation. At least four "extremists" were killed in the air strike, the statement said. The extremists were responsible for launching numerous attacks against civilians and the Afghan National Army, it claimed.
