New York, July. 7, (BNA) Tens of Palestinians and Americans rallied in front of the UN building in protest against the Israeli military operations in Gaza.
The protesters requested the UN to protect the Palestinian people and to stop discrimination actions being imposed by Israel. Moreover, the protesters criticized the US and its stances regarding the situation in Palestine. The protesters also presented the UN Secretary General, Kofi Annan, a letter with their requests which included the release of Palestinian prisoners in Israel and the stopping of Israel's violation of international laws.
