Kabul Aug. 26 (BNA) Two US led coalition forces soldiers were killed and two others were injured in a bomb explosion in the East of Afghanistan, said a US army statement today.
The statement said the forces were conducting a combat patrol in Laghman province when they were attacked with light weapons and machine guns.
The incident is part of a series of attacks on international forces in Afghanistan which have been conducting military operations on Taliban and Al Qaeda insurgents since the Taliban regime was toppled down at the end of 2001.
Meanwhile, a recent US CIA report said that Al Qaeda leader Osama Bin Laden is hiding in Pakistan.
CIA Bin Laden Unit former head Michael Scheuer said the US will be very lucky if it catches Bin Laden.
Scheuer, who headed the unit from 1996 to 1999, told CNN that looking for Bin Laden in Hindu Kush is not like looking for Eric Rudolph in the North Carolina.
