Manama, March. 16. (BNA) His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa today received a written message from the Eritrean President Essias Afwerqi on bilateral relations and issues of common interest.
Foreign Affairs Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa was handed over the message by his Eritrean counterpart Othman Saleh when he received him today at the Foreign Ministry's general court. During the meeting, Shaikh Khalid asserted that Bahrain is keen to consolidate bilateral cooperation with Eritrea at the economic and investment levels. The two countries' consultation and coordination should continue in order to further boost ties linking the two countries, he said, adding that he expects the Eritrean Foreign Minister to pay an official visit to the kingdom to lay solid foundations for bilateral relations. On his part, Othman Saleh expressed his country's keenness to consolidate bilateral cooperation with Bahrain, lauding the kingdom's growth and development at all levels.
