Manama, March 17 (BNA) His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa received today an invitation from Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva to take part in the 5th World Urban Forum which will be hosted by the Brazilian city Rio de Janeiro from March 22 to 26.
The Brazilian President described in his letter the visit of HRH the Premier as an added value to work out solutions for urban development issues which are considered one of the burdens of the modern world. He pointed out that the forum, which will convene with the participation of around 10,000 participants from all over the world, will focus on issues like social and urban inequality which poses one of the key challenges of the new millennium.
